  My sweetheart picked this place out of an online search as we were headed to Abo Ruins near Mountainair for a special Moonrise event. Be sure to check on the hours as google indicated they were closing soon, but as the season warms, they are keeping later hours.
  Their menu is going to be limited and it changes probably week-to-week (overheard meeting between staff planning next week). But my opinion at this point is that anything they plan will be a taste sensation.
  We had brisket sandwiches, but they also offered pulled pork or a shrimp creole that I think would have been awesome once I tasted what they did with the brisket. It was served on a tasty roll baked in-house. The small tomato salad was dressed with a vinegar I couldn't identify but that really enhanced the fresh tomato taste. Included in this box lunch was a banana nut bread filled with a rich cream cheese....heavenly indulgence! Also was an orange quarter that cleansed the palette. I added a Fanta Pina soda (they sell Mexican Coke products - real sugar).
  After that small feast I ordered a cafe con leche that was awesome and we got two treats to take home and enjoy.
  The shocking bit was that all this gourmet repast only added up to just under $30. Every member of their staff had a hand in serving us, that's just how they 'roll" (get it? The Bakery?)
  Confession: With all the distractions of this excellent meal, we forget to include a tip. Anybody want to join us as we go right that wrong?
